A Night of Purpose, Creativity and Innovation

On May 18, 2025, the iconic O Cinema in Miami Beach became the stage for a truly memorable evening for the South Florida marketing community. The much-anticipated AMA Marketing Awards 2025, hosted by the American Marketing Association South Florida, was more than an awards ceremony—it was a celebration of talent, innovation, and, above all, the purpose that drives our work as marketing professionals.

The evening was hosted by Jessica Zuckier, President of AMA South Florida, who opened the night with an insightful and inspiring message about the role of marketing in today’s world. Jessica emphasized that the AMA is more than a professional network—it’s a global community of over 29,000 members, with 65 professional chapters and 320 collegiate chapters, backed by over 80 years of history supporting marketers’ growth. With a reach that extends to more than 1.3 million professionals around the globe, the AMA is a dynamic platform that connects, educates, and inspires.

Jessica also underscored that creativity and innovation remain at the core of our industry, but today, more than ever, technology should be seen as a tool to amplify our purpose. When strategy is aligned with values, marketing goes beyond commerce—it becomes a powerful force for education, inspiration, and meaningful change.

During the ceremony, Alexander Serebriakoff, President-Elect of AMA South Florida, also shared a few words, emphasizing the importance of building purpose-driven and human-centered businesses. He encouraged marketers to continue using their craft as a bridge between innovation and positive impact—reminding everyone that the future of leadership is rooted in authenticity and real connection.

This year, more than 50 campaigns were reviewed by a panel of 18 expert judges, who brought their knowledge, experience, and insight to identify the most impactful submissions. The jury included: Jessica Zuckier, Alexander Serebriakoff, Frida Alsterhem, Fabiola Rojas, Dr. Betty N. Carew, Marcello Sasso, Ana Meira, Ignacio Albornoz, Michelle Zambrana, Allison Moraga-Rodriguez, Mark Behar, Daniella Valeriano, David Del Rio, Mykola Lukashuk, Jasmin M., Kristal Piccolo, and Ricardo Felice. Their dedication ensured a rigorous and thoughtful evaluation process.

The award-winning campaigns reminded us that behind every great idea is vision, collaboration, and a message that resonates

• Digital and Social Media Campaign of the Year: City of Pompano Beach, for a campaign that broke engagement barriers and built a genuine connection with its digital community.

• PR & Communications Campaign of the Year: Merit Mile, for demonstrating how authentic strategic communication can shape perceptions, elevate brands, and create lasting impact.

• Marketing Campaign of the Year: Cox Science Center and Aquarium, for bringing together 468 people dressed as

dinosaurs to break a Guinness World Record in a campaign that was as fun as it was unforgettable.

One of the evening’s highlights was the participation of Larisa Svechin, Mayor of Sunny Isles, who shared that she spent several years of her career working in marketing. Drawing from her experience, she recognized the strategic depth and creativity behind each campaign and encouraged attendees to continue building companies and communities grounded in purpose and vision.
